Magic the gathering (Forest) Ambush Wolf #0098 - Foundations - MTG Card (English) Common

Ambush Wolf is a common green Creature — Wolf from Magic: The Gathering Foundations. It costs three mana (\(\{2\}\{G\}\)) and has a power and toughness of 4/2. It has flash, allowing you to cast it at instant speed, including during an opponent’s turn or after attackers have been declared. When Ambush Wolf enters the battlefield, you may exile up to one target card from a graveyard. This provides useful graveyard disruption while allowing you to surprise an opponent with a sizeable creature during combat. Its combination of flash, a strong power-to-cost ratio, and targeted graveyard interaction makes it a useful option for green decks and strategies that need flexible responses.

Featuring artwork by Paolo Parente, Ambush Wolf depicts a predator lying motionless in the undergrowth, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Its design reflects the natural ambush tactics of a wolf, combining surprise and strength with a useful utility effect. As a common from Foundations, it is an accessible addition for casual players, green deck builders, and collectors completing the set.
