Magic the gathering (Forest) Cackling Prowler #0101 - Foundations - MTG Card (English) Common

Cackling Prowler #0101 is a green Creature — Hyena Rogue from Magic: The Gathering: Foundations. Costing 3 (three generic mana and one green mana), this common creature has 4 power and 3 toughness. It has Ward 2, which means an opponent’s spell or ability that targets it is countered unless that opponent pays 2. Its Morbid ability triggers at the beginning of your end step if a creature died that turn, putting a +1/+1 counter on Cackling Prowler. These abilities make it a sturdy threat that can grow over time while being more difficult for opponents to remove.

Illustrated by Christopher Burdett, Cackling Prowler features a wild fantasy creature suited to the woodland and creature-focused themes of Foundations. Its strong starting stats and potential to grow make it useful in green creature decks, particularly in Limited formats and casual collections. This standard non-foil printing is a common card from the set released in November 2024.
