Magic the gathering (Forest) Greater Tanuki #0897 - Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty - MTG Card (English) Common

Greater Tanuki is a green Enchantment Creature — Dog from Magic: The Gathering — Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. This common creature costs 4 and has 6/5 power and toughness, making it a powerful late-game threat for green decks. Its trample ability allows excess combat damage to carry through to an opponent, helping it apply pressure even when blocked by smaller creatures.

Greater Tanuki also has a Channel ability that lets you discard it for 2 to search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped. This flexibility makes the card useful even when you cannot afford to cast the creature, supporting mana development early and providing a sizeable attacker later. Featuring artwork by Ilse Gort, this listing is for the standard English, non-foil version, collector number 0897, from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, released on February 18, 2022.
