Magic the gathering (Plains) Vanguard Seraph #0028 - Foundations - MTG Card (English) Common

Vanguard Seraph is a common white Creature — Angel Warrior from Magic: The Gathering Foundations. It costs four mana (\(\{3\}\{W\}\)), has flying, and has a power and toughness of 3/3. Whenever you gain life for the first time each turn, you surveil 1, allowing you to look at the top card of your library and choose whether to put it into your graveyard. This ability can trigger on each player’s turn, provided you gain life for the first time that turn while Vanguard Seraph is on the battlefield. It combines an evasive creature with useful card selection, making it a solid option for white decks built around lifegain.

Featuring artwork by Zezhou Chen, Vanguard Seraph depicts a celestial warrior guiding expeditions through the perilous floating ruins of Zendikar. Its angelic theme, flying ability, and lifegain synergy make it a useful addition to casual decks, lifegain strategies, and Foundations set collections.
