Magic the gathering (Plains) White Mage's Staff #0042 - FINAL FANTASY - MTG Card (English) Common

White Mage’s Staff is a common white Artifact — Equipment from Magic: The Gathering — FINAL FANTASY. It costs two mana (\(\{1\}\{W\}\)) and features the Job select ability, which creates a 1/1 colourless Hero creature token when the Equipment enters the battlefield, then attaches the Staff to it. The equipped creature gets +1/+1, gains the ability “Whenever this creature attacks, you gain 1 life,” and becomes a Cleric in addition to its other creature types. Its equip ability costs \(\{3\}\), allowing you to move it to another creature you control at sorcery speed. This makes it a useful choice for Equipment decks, lifegain strategies, and creature builds that benefit from additional combat value.

Featuring artwork by Kim Dingwall, White Mage’s Staff draws inspiration from the White Mage job in the FINAL FANTASY series, known for healing and supporting allies. Its combination of a free Hero token, a creature boost, and repeatable lifegain makes it a thematic addition for FINAL FANTASY fans, MTG collectors, and players building white Equipment or Cleric-focused decks.
